Storyblaster is a media and software company founded by industry vets, and we've created a new paradigm in storytelling. Apply your expertise under the direction of top artists and producers as we create compelling content for our own marketing and social media campaigns. There will also be opportunities to edit traditional episodic content as well.
We're looking for creative, content-savvy, and driven candidates to help us create and edit videos that will tell the story of our company and educate users and clients about our current projects. Add content to your portfolio and contacts to your creative network while learning from established writers, producers, artists, and technologists.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
-Knowledge of video editing software and storytelling through short-form video
-Positive attitude and ability to work in teams as well as individually
-Unique style and voice: we want creative folks with something to say
-Familiarity with top social media and content distribution platforms will be helpful
-Interest in multiple aspects of media and entertainment
-Familiarity with graphic design and/or illustration helpful but not required
We offer flexible scheduling, monthly cash stipend, a casual office with plenty of snacks and swim breaks, and the opportunity to make connections and gain marketable industry experience.
Our office is in Hollywood and we're open M-F 10am to 6pm. Interns must be in the Los Angeles area for at least 10-12 weeks beginning in September 2018. This is an internship for education and training purposes and the cash stipend WILL NOT replace regular employment. There are no remote internships available and we do not provide any sponsorship/VISA or relocation assistance.
Please submit your resume and any supporting materials (or a link to your portfolio). Applications without work samples will not be considered.
