Role:
We're looking for an experienced production manager to help oversee production and post on an exciting new stop motion show, joining a team consisting of a line producer, another production manager, a production coordinator, and a PA.
Responsibilities:
• Work with the Line Producer to oversee post, including internal crew and external vendors.
• Maintain and distribute weekly status updates, flagging any possible issues.
• Manage the overall post show schedule, track man-weeks and coordinate the day-to-day workflow in Shotgun.
• Suggest new ideas to improve workflow.
• Schedule post meetings and check ins while factoring in the needs of production while the show is still shooting.
• Responsible for the information in production reports, including knowing what the information means, gaps that require discussion, and trends that appear.
• Escalate challenges and issues to Line Producer; come with proposed solutions.
• Manage individual department and episodic schedules, ensuring strict deadlines are met.
• Interface with client/network for administrative needs & PR.
• Work with other Production Manager to divide and conquer.
• Act as primary liason with vendor studios.
• Coordinate facilities requests.
• See episodes through QC and final delivery.
• Support production meetings to ensure clear communication, dissemination of information, acknowledge accomplishments and discuss challenges.
Qualifications
• Software requirements: Gmail suite, Microsoft suite. Shotgun experience a big plus.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the animation production process, TV experience preferred, Stop-Motion and Post experience a plus.
• Ability to work with remote crew and independent contractors.
• Clear and concise communication.
• Manage and drive multiple and diverse responsibilities with a strong emphasis on organization and an unwavering attention to detail at all times.
• Work to and meet strict deadlines often under pressure.
• Proactive and positive thinker, able to exercise good judgment.
• Use discretion and maintain confidential information.
• Owns tasks and drives through completion.
