Stage 32, the world's largest social media and education platform for the entertainment industry, is looking for a Social Media Manager to work in a fast-paced environment with a wide range of social reach on multiple platforms. We are Los Angeles based, however, we are open to this being a remote position.
Stage 32 has established itself as the dominant platform in connecting and educating film, television and new media creatives worldwide with over 750,000 members. As our foothold within the industry continues to rise, we are looking to expand our team and take our social media efforts to the next level. We are searching for a superstar to assist us with that goal.
This creative part of this position will entail brainstorming, producing and posting fresh social media content, monitoring and managing online brand reputation, and engaging prospects and customers in ways that have a positive impact towards leads, website traffic and brand awareness. The data-driven part of position will ensure that all efforts are consistently delivering the best results possible by analyzing all pertinent data and adjusting in a timely, productive fashion.
Responsibilities:
• Build and execute a social media strategy through competitive research, benchmarking and best practices designed to increase brand engagement on Stage 32's multiple social media accounts and platforms.
• Routinely create, update, maintain and monitor social media posts on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Clubhouse among others.
• Facilitate social media conversations and interact directly with customers through posts and DM's and respond to all platform and business inquiries presented on social channels.
• Create, schedule and publish engaging copy, image and video creative that drives social engagement and further establishes the Stage 32 brand.
• Create engagement through contests, giveaways and other promotional initiatives.
• Utilize social media publishing tools for planning and scheduling content.
• Be an effective, contributing member of a team whose primary goals are to increase engagement and generate qualified leads to our website and services.
• Adopt and utilize social media best practices and maintain library of resources to enhance our team efforts.
• Identify new content and social network marketing opportunities.
• Build and execute a digital marketing strategy for multiple accounts through competitive research, benchmarking and best practices designed to increase ad engagement.
• Manage paid ad campaigns assisting in keyword research, ad copy creation, and performance analysis optimizing for conversions and KPIs.
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance and results and generate recommendations for optimization and ongoing growth.
• Develop a website traffic plan and create goals and benchmarks to meet.
• Develop, evaluate and oversee the implementation of A/B testing protocols and procedures.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• An obsession with social media.
• An understanding of the demands of running social media for a top entertainment tech platform.
• 5 years of social media experience working for an established brand, or an equivalent of experience.
• A proven ability to grow a company's social media following, engagement and brand.
• 1-3 years of experience managing paid campaigns.
• Knowledge of the entertainment industry both creative and business, and a familiarity of Stage 32.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, News Media, Public Relations, or relevant field; or one to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to navigate and organize via common online systems (Google shared docs, Gmail, YouTube, Vimeo, Dropbox, Office Suite - Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to navigate Go To Meeting/Go To Webinar, Zoom, Canva and Buffer or Hootsuite programs.
• Ability to learn and navigate Stage 32's internal editor system.
• Ability to stay on top of various tasks at a time.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks. Daily priorities will differ so please be flexible.
• Ability to identify and define opportunities for company growth.
• Highly digitally organized with strong attention to detail.
• Initiative and ability to work unsupervised.
• Excelling in a fast-paced environment.
