The world's largest online platform for film, TV & digital creatives and executives worldwide is looking for experienced Books editors, Copy Editors, Literary Scouts, and Manuscript Readers to add to its freelance roster for manuscript review, analysis, and critique. The position pays competitive rates for manuscript coverage of between $100-$300 a freelance/per manuscript basis. All work is done remotely.
The site has an online community of over 650,000 creatives around the world and thousands of hours of education taught by a network of over 500 industry executives. The company is the official and exclusive film education & networking platform of the Cannes Film Festival, as well as Austin Film Festival, American Film Market, SXSW, Raindance Film Festival, Hollyshorts Film Festival, the PGA, WGA and DGA, as well as brands including AT&T, National Lampoon, Amy Baer's Gidden Media, and Bondit Media Capital.
Qualified applicants should have a minimum of 5 years experience in book publishing with focus on aspects of the craft including concept, originality, plot, structure, formatting, dialogue, and characterization. Previous or current work with publishing companies, literary agencies, and/or management companies is a plus. Applicant must work well under strict deadlines. Discretion is a must.
