Full Time Job
Apparel Graphic Designer will coordinate the execution of designs according to Design Director's vision and instruction. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications and Guidelines
The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The individual must be flexible, solution-oriented and adaptive to changing priorities, as well as effectively manage time and various projects. Individuals must show initiative to present creative ideas and collaborate with the design team.
Examples of Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Take direction from Design Director on designing and developing embellishment and print artwork that fits the criteria of both the garment and the brand
· Must have an excellent working knowledge of Garment Print Design.
· Understanding of different Print and embellishment technics as well as how to communicate the best artwork for the desired outcome.
· Excellent color and trend awareness as well as an eye for design
· Develop clear, branded line sheets and style charts to be used by the showroom sales team and internal staff
· Ability to create repeat pattern designs for prints, resizing print, modifying repeat, and recoloring
· Understanding of customer and ability to develop and communicate ideas that inspire and captivate consumers of the brand.
· Attention to detail is a must
· Participate in meetings with the Design Director and team throughout the design process
· Proficient in Adobe InDesign Illustrator and photoshop
· Ability to CAD garments in Illustrator is a plus
· Must have 3+ years of experience working in Graphics
· Must have 4+ years of experience and/or Fashion industry
