Executive Assistant

We are seeking a highly capable and adaptable Executive Assistant to support the Founder of Spinning Top Music as well as the artists on our roster.

This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of the independent music sector, supporting a leader who has a deep entrepreneurial spirit with a focus on artist development as well as maintaining key partnerships and strategizing creatively in the ever evolving music industry. The role combines the precision and discretion of an Executive Assistant with the strategic coordination and project insight to ensure the leader's time is focused on top priorities. This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive individual with a deep understanding of the music industry and a passion for artist development. The successful applicant will have a track record navigating and managing competing priorities in a high volume, fast paced environment. The individual will be able to connect the dots and use critical thinking skills to draw conclusions from the big picture and accomplish tasks in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a dynamic calendar and inbox.
• Correspond on the founder's behalf with external contacts
• Handle travel logistics, including internationally and domestically for founder and artists
• Brief founder before all meetings and calls
• Take notes during meetings and follow up on action items
• Ensure smooth information flow between the founder and the staff
• Create comprehensive lists for founder and prioritize list items.
• Act as a liaison between founder and team members, ensuring alignment on scheduling and logistics
• Assist CEO with social media posting and correspondence
• Support the execution of strategic projects.

Skills & Experience

• 3+ years in Executive Assistant / entertainment industry role
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
• Social media - creating, editing, scheduling posts
• Proven ability to operate in both corporate and entrepreneurial industry contexts.
• Technology savvy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to adapt to global executives, artists, and creative teams.
• High emotional intelligence, discretion, and ability to build trust with diverse stakeholders.
• Passion for music and commitment to supporting both artists and the business of music.
BA/BS degree preferred but not required
Strong familiarity with social media such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, Soundcloud, etc.
Strong proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Google Docs/Spreadsheets
General understanding of distribution services
