A premiere entertainment company located on the Westside is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Business Affairs Coordinator to join their team. This role is an integral part of the organization and will work cross-functionally in a collaborative, fast-paced, and stimulating work environment. If you are a highly motivated self-starter who possesses a strong initiative and who enjoys having a hand in all aspects of a company's business while also coordinating with A-list talent, then this is the role for you.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the legal and business affairs function of the company
Will work with talent on all aspects of business including drafting, and reviewing contracts
Engage and coordinate with outside vendors and talent on all matters as needed.
Serve as a liaison for external partners and internal teams to coordinate and schedule meetings
Manage internal and external requests on behalf of the team, providing effective communication throughout projects
Qualifications:
1+ years of relevant experience (including recent Law Graduate, Business Affairs, Paralegal)
Excellent interpersonal, time-management, and contract negotiation skills.
Proactive and flexible business-oriented approach.
Ability to professionally guide and constructively interact with a full range of production personnel, from executive producers to A-list talent
Experience at either an entertainment law firm, business management, studio, or agency a plus
Must be able to stick to tight deadlines and maintain the highest level of discretion while protecting confidential information
