Southpaw Entertainment (AUGUST RUSH, THE SPACE BETWEEN US, ROBIN HOOD: PRINCE OF THIEVES), a feature film and television production company headed by a veteran producer with a major motion picture going into production, seeks 2 interns for internships. We've got a big slate with films set up with Lionsgate, BRON Studios, 20th Century Fox, and more as well as shows set up at NBC and Universal Cable Productions that are currently in development. Duties include reading scripts, writing coverage, general research, helping to develop projects and general office admin tasks. Interns will work directly with executives and learn about film and TV development, as well as an introduction to production and post production. Looking for creative, positive students with passion and drive for the entertainment industry. Specifically seeking those with a can-do attitude and willingness to take initiative. This position is unpaid and school credit is available. Will work around school schedule, but looking for those who can intern 2 days per week.
