SoulCycle is seeking a Talent Coordinator who will contribute to the company's continued success by strategically programming instructors and partnering with Talent Managers to provide them representation in all areas including but not limited to career-pathing, personal brand presence and extension, community building and overall professional growth and development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the SoulCycle culture and s/he will be personable and efficient in a fast-paced, dynamic, high growth environment.
This position reports to the Regional Talent Manager and resides in LA. The responsibilities and duties of this position described here are representative of those an employee must perform. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collect availability and generate weekly instructor availability report
Assist with day-to-day schedule changes amongst all instructors and studios
Be on call for last-minute/emergency class substitutions and instructor schedule changes 24 hours/day including weekends
Manage the studios schedules on a day to day basis
Work with the Public Relations and Marketing departments to secure and schedule instructors to teach theme rides and special events
Manage communication among all SoulCycle instructors, as requested, regarding anything pertaining to the schedule including but not limited to schedule changes and updates
Ride in specified instructors' classes as requested in order to gather and provide feedback
Visit specified studios and meet with management as requested in order to gather and provide feedback
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have 1-2+ years of experience managing talent
Must have a degree from an accredited four year college or university
Must be extremely detail oriented and the ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be highly proficient with Excel & Word
Must have a flexible schedule and be reachable/on-call during non-traditional business hours, with a computer if needed
Must have ability to travel between studios
A personal passion for fitness and/or the SoulCycle brand is mandatory
