VP, International Production
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Cultivate and nurture international co-productions, US development and foreign language development
• Negotiate and broker deals with international production companies and talent
• Building partnerships; managing and monitoring budgets, timelines and evaluations related to international co-productions
• Communicate priorities and key programs to the teams and agencies that will execute against them
• Interface with and drive decisions within cross-functional teams and senior leadership both internally and externally
REQUIREMENTS:
• 7-10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years as a leader focused on the international co-production space, ideally at a major studio and / or network
• College degree required, advanced degree preferred
• Knowledge of how international subsidies work
• Strong relationships with international TV broadcasters and talent
• Ability to travel internationally a significant amount of time
• Ability to speak more than one language is strongly preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills in order to interface with key internal and external stakeholders
• Highly creative and strategic; ability to generate ideas and execute against them
• High degree of enthusiasm combined with a problem solver mentality
• Solid oral presentation skills, executive maturity and polish
• Strong relationship builder; works effectively at all levels of the organization
• High influencing skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines simultaneously
• Demonstrated ability to balance vision and creative thinking with analytical rigor to meet the organizations goals
• Ability to analyze metrics and draw actionable conclusions
