Overview:
Reporting into the SVP, International Marketing Partnerships, this role will be responsible for pitching, negotiating and executing global and pan-regional third-party partnerships on the studio's theatrical releases with companies headquartered in EMEA. This role delivers $20-$30MM of incremental marketing support on an annual basis and has responsibility over portions of the International Marketing Partnerships team's Home Office budget.
Core Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• 30% - Develop pitching strategy and create pitch lists of target companies who are appropriate to each film, with a focus on global brands headquartered in EMEA. Develop tailored pitch materials and present partnership opportunities to senior marketing executives at target companies. Negotiate partnership agreements that take into account media exposure and creative execution.
• 20% - Proactively manage all EMEA territory Partnerships executives to ensure that their local partnerships reflect the marketing strategy of each film. Communicate consistently with all these executives to identify global or regional opportunities that originate from local conversations.
• 20% - Manage execution of regional deals by acting as liaison between brands, Home Office and the local territories.
• 10% - Secure long-term, multi-picture partnerships with EMEA-based brands.
• 10% - Develop and implement a strategy Act as Partnerships team's key point of contact with regional Media agency to identify global and pan-regional partnership opportunities among their client roster.
• 10% - Support the studio's efforts in seeking event/premiere sponsorships to offset Marketing budgets.
Please note that this position will be based in our London office, currently located in Soho but moving to new offices in Paddington 2020.
Successful candidate must be willing to travel for pitch meetings in other territories.
Whilst this position will have no direct line management of a team as all EMEA territory Promotions Managers report to their local Marketing Director, this role will oversee the EMEA territory Promotions Managers on behalf of Home Office.
Qualifications
and/or Experience Required
To be considered for this role, you will typically have 8 - 10 years' experience within the international marketing partnerships industry, ideally within Motion Pictures from working at a studio, agency or brand.
You will be able to demonstrate that you can maintain a current knowledge of regional advertising, marketing and partnership trends and that you also have existing relationships with brands in promotionally friendly categories (i.e automative, QSR, CPG, etc).

• Brand partnership landscape (film, music, gaming, sports, etc.)

Ability to:
• Successfully manage multiple projects with various timelines.
• Retain a long view on future partnerships while flawlessly executing current ones.
• Coordinate activities of multiple territories to create a cohesive campaign that still works in each individual market.
