Global Talent Branding and Social Media Trainee, CORP – Spring 2020
The Sony Pictures Entertainment Professional Trainee program offers a unique opportunity to work alongside the teams that come together to create movies, TV shows, and other great experiences. This Spring Professional Trainee position is from January through May and all candidates must be able to work 40 hours a week, M-F.
Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) has an immediate opening for a passionate Trainee, Global Talent Branding & Social Media on our Global Talent Acquisition team. This position will support the expansion of our talent focused branding and social media strategy showcasing the culture, employee experience, benefits and perks of working at Sony Pictures Entertainment around the world. This role will have a focus on social media content creation and curation across a variety of channels and supporting the execution of the communications and brand strategy with key stakeholders globally. A willingness to be proactive, build relationships across the business and problem solve effectively will help the selected candidate thrive in this role. The Trainee, Global Talent Branding & Social Media will report directly the VP of Global Talent Acquisition and the Director of People & Organization Strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Content creation for a variety of talent focused social media channels
• Maintain a content calendar for a variety of social media channels based on the team's evolving strategy
• Engage with the community that interacts with our social channels via comments, messages, etc.
• Monitor various employee communications to track event and initiative schedules for posting and approvals
• Attend employee events to capture visual and written content for social media channels
• Assist with building presentations as the employer branding strategy at SPE grows
• Liaise regularly with branding and social media vendors and partners including SPE's career portal technology vendor
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of social media and/or marketing experience
• A passion for social media platforms, digital media and technology is required
• Graphic design skills preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in all MS Office Suite Products in Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Professional with excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize competing priorities
• Extremely organized, detail oriented, and a fast learner
• Strong work ethic
• Ability to maintain sensitive/confidential information
• Confident in interacting with all levels in the organization
• A global perspective is required
