Service Manager, Security & Fire Technology
The Service Manager, Security & Fire Technology position resides in SPE's Security Technology Group (STG) and is responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance, inspection, testing and repair of all fire & security systems for SPE Globally. Systems include but are not limited to: Fire Alarm Systems, Fire Sprinkler Systems, Specialty Fire Systems, AED's, Access Control, CCTV Systems, Perimeter Detection, Intrusion Systems, Panic Alarm Systems, and various communication systems. The role reports into the VP, Emergency Services & Crisis Management.
Responsibilities:
• Manage break/fix service requests for all security & fire alarm systems from Security Ops, Sony Fire & the GSOC
• Ensure all North America fire systems are inspected, tested & documented per NFPA 25 & the California Fire Code
• Work with SPE IT to onboard devices such as security cameras onto the SPE network, ensuring but not limited to proper IP and Firewall assignments.
• Manage security & fire technology vendors, including contract maintenance, scheduling, invoice management & billing disputes.
• Assist/Support the Global Security Project Manager as needed
Requirements:
• 3+ years of related experience
• High School Diploma; Bachelors degree preferred
• Certifications/Licenses: Genetec, Lenel, Silent Knight
• Knowledge of California Fire and Building Codes, NFPA , & Fire Suppression & Detection Systems , various security systems including installation of cameras, card readers, and intrusion systems.
• Must be able to effectively communicate , both written and oral, across all levels of the comp any .
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations off hours.
• Ability to w ork in a fast-paced organization; be a contributing member to a larger ''studio wide'' team; coordinate and manage multiple task s without constant supervision; and generate professional looking documents .
