Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis
Based in Singapore, the incumbent will be responsible for accurate and timely monthly close reporting, budgeting, forecasting and accountable for providing budget/forecast variance reports.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and lead FPA team in consolidation of monthly reporting, quarterly forecasts, annual budget
• Conduct and report P&L and cash flow variance analysis vs. budgets and forecasts.
• Provide financial guidance to operation departments, eg. on POs and spending within budget; expense recognition criteria.
• Lead and work on new forecast planning system eg. testing of functionality / calculation, data validation and accuracy of reports.
• Partner with business managers in developing and recommending financial strategies for current/ new business initiatives.
• Continuous efforts to improve process flows, forecasting and reporting efficiency.
• Take on ad hoc projects and analyses as assigned from time to time. Perform any other tasks as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
• Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent qualifications.
• 8-10 years of experience in Planning and Analysis, Business Support, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
• Work experience in Media, Broadcasting or Manufacturing industries is preferred but not a must.
• Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Data management skills are critical.
• Independent thinker, organized, analytical and quick to grasp big picture and concepts.
• Able to manage and motivate FPA team to multi-task and deliver under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Able to work well independently as well as in a team. Strong follow-through on all projects; able to bring projects to timely completion and meet key objectives.
• Open and not averse to handling large volumes of data for variance analysis and forecasting.
• Excellent time management, communication and organizational skills.
