Senior Analyst, Investigative Services
The Investigative Services Senior Analyst/Developer works as a member of the Investigative Services team reporting into SPE's Legal Division.
Who we are looking for: The successful applicant will be knowledgeable in IT and Computer Programming and will be a valuable team member to the company's investigations group.
What we do: The Investigative Services team responds to highly-sensitive internal company issues and frequently deals with sensitive and confidential company data. We investigate internal misconduct, fraud, content protection issues, and assist SPE's legal teams by providing technical assistance pertaining to legal matters.
Where we are located: We operate from SPE's Headquarters in Culver City and our offices are located on the studio's lot. You will be working in a state-of-the-art forensic lab and have a cool access badge.
What you will be doing: You will use your skills to design, develop, and support creative solutions that assist the team's challenges and objectives. Challenges may be process oriented or part of an active investigation into issues affecting the company.
Responsibilities:
• Automating processes, creating applications and scripts, and assisting with IT related issues.
• Providing technical support to employees relying on the forensic lab's services.
• Supporting the maintenance and configuration of the company's forensic lab infrastructure.
• Assisting in the technical support of the company's legal teams.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred, or degree and demonstrated experience to fulfill job responsibilities.
• 2 years of related experience
• Knowledge of other scripting/programming abilities a strong plus.
• Understanding of basic IT infrastructure and networking.
• Proficient in PowerShell, Python/Ruby, MSSQL, .Net, or Java.
• Experience with Windows and Unix-based platforms.
• Must have a professional demeanor and high ethical standards.
• Must possess excellent written/oral communication skills.
• Willingness to obtain industry relevant certifications.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality while working on highly sensitive matters.
• A great sense of humor is imperative.
Ability
• Work independently on self-driven projects.
• Be available outside of normal work hours at times.
• Willingness to work on a fast paced, dynamic team.
• Ability to rapidly diagnose annoying flashing lights and warning messages.
