National Account Executive, Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, Australia
Universal Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Australia (UNISPHE) is a Joint Venture between Universal Pictures and Sony Home Entertainment.
We are Australia's leading home entertainment business distributing diverse physical & digital content across film, TV, family and documentaries from Universal and Sony as well as our partners Paramount, eOne, Studio Canal, the BBC and Transmission Films. We aim to provide Australians with the in-home content that they love, when & how they want it & release over 500 titles per year with something for everyone, from Sci-fi to drama, from comedies to thrillers & from global blockbusters to high end arthouse.
This role is a 12-month fixed term contract and will be an integral part of our sales effort, supporting two of our major well-known retail partners and is a potential stepping stone to personal growth within a supportive & ambitious business.
Based in Sydney, the National Account Executive will be responsible for working closely with the National Account Manager and Head of National Sales Accounts to provide best-in-market service to an assigned national retailer &/or eCommerce account base to deliver on set revenue, profit and spend targets.
In this role you will manage the administration & coordination of daily tasks both internally and externally to ensure all submissions, orders, rebates, invoicing, forecasts and returns are managed accurately and to business and retailer deadlines.
You will also add value to the account team in planning, selling and following up with retailer buying team.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Liaison
• Daily email and phone liaison with customers to ensure a timely, smooth information flow
• Coordination of orders, pricing & rebates for the customer
• Responding to ad hoc customer requests
• Participation in face to face customer meetings as required / appropriate
• Monthly POS approvals with customers
• Management and development of monthly promotions for customers
Submissions & Forecasts
• Prepare monthly new release submissions and promotions paperwork
• Work with Finance to manage monthly markdown, co-op, trading terms & rebate processing
• Assist account managers with forecasting and updating of internal forecasting system
Account Team Coordination
• Monitoring the Critical path to ensure compliance
• Management of Admin folders
• Management of new account information into appropriate systems
• Supporting National Account Manager on preparation of the account sell-in, reviews, strategy and joint business plans
• Weekly sales report management
• Billing and invoicing of sales
• Preparation of monthly merchandising briefs
• Preparing Weekly WIP agenda and minutes
Key skills and Attributes
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Advanced MS Excel, Powerpoint & Word skills
• Strong financial reconciliation ability
• MS Paint and Photoshop experience preferable
• Business Objects experience desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Personable with an ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally
• A team player who works well in a cross-functional group
• Proactive & self-motivated
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritise business and customer needs
• Strong commercial acumen
• Strong analytical ability
• Understanding of retail systems and processes preferable

Required Experience:
• Business Degree or related Tertiary qualification
• Administrative and/or sales coordination experience in a corporate environment
• Experience working within a national consumer goods or entertainment supply environment preferable, but not essential
• Experience working within a national retailer head office role preferable, but not essential
• Experience working with Woolworths &/or Wesfarmers Group systems preferable but not essential
