Marketing Executive
Based in our Beijing Office and reporting to Senior Business Director, the role of Marketing Executive is a proactive professional able to effectively support Sony Pictures Television's Network China team to organize and implement 10-20 marketing events and roadshows in China annually. The incumbent also has to work efficiently with Singapore Marketing team in Programing, Marketing Designs, facilitating ongoing processes for Financial Payments, as well as working with CTV on annual applications.
Responsibilities:
• Provide support to our Beijing based sales team by versioning into the local language our innovative sales materials, meeting together with clients and generally reinforcing SPT's overall commitment in the market.
• Build a thorough understanding of customer needs and key levers to maximize AXN brand exposure and viewership of our product on clients
• Organize, design and coordinate various marketing events to support the realization of sales target.
• Manage all needs around talent tours, locally based trade shows, awards submissions and screenings – budgets, contracts, booth plans, collateral and all other key aspects.
• Manage all press requests and outreach as well as tracking of coverage for AXN.
• Innovatively manage AXN WeChat official account on a regular basis.
• Liaise with foreign channels' distributor for annual application and landing rights contract issues.
• Manage external vendors for marketing collateral/premiums production.
• General administration including creation of purchase orders, budget tracking, expenses, quality control, shipping, etc.
Job Requirements:
• 3-4 years marketing experiences specialized in digital media, Television/Entertainment marketing is a plus.
• A strong knowledge of China's new media landscape.
• Experience, exposure or understanding of media/US entertainment industry.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) in the English and Chinese Mandarin languages.
• Strong writing and editing skills.
• Strong computer skills - MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint Pro-active, well organized, detail-oriented and persistent.
• Creative thinker, and willing to learn new skills.
• Good team player and self-motivated personality.
• Being high integrity.
• Able to operate offline editing, Apple Final cut and Photoshop is preferred
