Marketing Coordinator
Overview
SPT is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join our Dubai based team, to support MET Sales Distribution in their pre-sales and post-sales efforts, as well as assist the team with their Home Entertainment and Networks Businesses.
The successful candidate will have a passion for providing excellent marketing support and are perhaps looking to transfer their skill set from a different industry into the world of TV and Feature Films.
Key Responsibilities will include:
MET Distribution Marketing Team support:
• Asset Distribution: Managing the central MET client list, sending marketing assets to all clients for all TV Series titles and fielding any questions e.g. availability and timings etc. Responding to all other asset requests for TV Series and Feature Film titles, utilising all our asset databases to search for, package and deliver to clients.
• - MET Distribution Broadcast Schedule: Communicating with the Marketing team in London on a weekly basis to provide their latest TV series premiere updates, managing the document and sending it out to the wider business for their information.
• Financial Administration: Using internal systems including SAP to set up new vendors, raise PO's and manage the PO log.
Formats support:
• Assisting in the collection of TV show launch strategies for key international shows and monitoring social media activity.
• Ensure the format/local production files, databases and libraries are kept up to date including the Broadcast Schedule.
• Collect relevant marketing assets for each title and ensure they are correctly labeled and uploaded to all digital asset management systems – EAGL, B2B, website landing page, screening room, touchscreen, etc.
• Assist in the collection of show launch strategies for key international shows.
• Manage the collection and specifications of video materials for the creation of sales reels. This includes managing digitization and file delivery with external editors.
• Update and maintain the digital slide rocket catalogues.
• Assist in the organization of events and screenings.
• Liaise with the sales team to compile and manage party/event invite lists.
• Research and source premium items for events or markets.
• Assist in the entry process for international awards.
• Update and manage the sales sheets.
• Financial administration (new vendors, p/o's, SAP, manage P/O log)
• Organize schedules and international travel as required.
• General Marketing Coordinator duties as required.
• Attend or dial in for production update meetings.
• Laisse with LA asset management team
Admin and Team support as required:
• Additional administrative support where required, examples could include - assisting in the organisation of meetings, events and screenings, compiling and managing party/event invitation lists, researching, sourcing and sending out merchandise for promotions and events, organising schedules and travel etc.
• Adhoc duties as required.
Qualifications
and/or Experience Required
• Excellent level of Arabic and English languages, both oral and written
• Typically, 1-3 years of Marketing experience.
• Exceptionally organised.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word, Outlook.
• Photoshop, In-Design skills are desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills to maintain sound working relationships.
• Excellent writing skills with first class attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated team player and facilitator.
• Ability to coordinate and work in a high paced and dynamic environment
• Experience with CMS tools, metadata and video file specs would be beneficial.
