Manager, Programming & Scheduling
General Summary:
Implement strategies for Crackle's programming selection and Network scheduling in Latin America and Brazil. This role reports to the Executive Director, Program Scheduling.
Responsibilities:
• Executes the multi-platform scheduling plan, including securing prominent placement and support of Crackle from MSOs.
• Collaborates with Content Acquisitions on selection and preparation of Crackle's programming plan.
• Responsible for the monthly highlights and curation.
• 120-day Programming Plan distribution.
• Work together with Research to use technology services and data to inform and optimize Network performance.
• Coordinates with distributors the delivery of metadata.
• Collaborates with Operations and Marketing in the setup and execution of the merchandising plan.
• Informs SPTN LatAm's leadership and operating units of the performance of the Network, market trends, competitive offering.
• Responsible for understanding audience's long form video preferences, content market trends, competitive programming, Crackle Network's programming performance and analyzing data driven insights together with Research to optimize audience acquisition and engagement through programming and scheduling, in owned and operated and MSO's device platforms.
Knowledge:
• Knowledge of Entertainment Industry, non-linear programming scheduling and experience in Latin American Market and Brazil.
• Data driven planning and digital publishing techniques.
Skills/Abilities:
• Fluent Bilingual English and Spanish (read and write); Portuguese a plus.
• Data driven analysis and strategy.
• Strong program management skills, for dealing in a multiplatform environment.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
Experience: 5 years specialty in the entertainment industry.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
