Manager, Performance Marketing
Position Overview
Crackle is currently seeking a talented Performance Marketing Manager with a passion for marketing in an ever changing media universe. Reporting to the Executive Director, Marketing, the position's primary responsibilities are to develop and execute marketing mix elements required to meet consumers' needs, drive acquisition and retention, execute short term initiatives, build long term brand equity, and meet corporate financial objectives for the Crackle brand.
Responsibilities
• Assist in the day-to-day management of Crackle paid media, specifically as it pertains to acquisition and retention of users.
• Assist with development of advertising and media plans for licensed titles and originals
• Work with external media agency and internal partners to execute media programs including title selection, monthly creative development and asset delivery.
• On an ongoing basis, measure and report performance of all paid media activities, and assess against goals; identify trends and insights, and optimize plan based on these insights.
• Coordinate cross-functional resources such as Programming, Product, Operations, Business Development, and Sales to effectively and efficiently direct marketing related activities.
• Assist with the execution of original programming paid media initiatives.
• Support execution of on air promotion activities.
• Coordinate marketing materials for brand and original programming launches.
• Assist with consumer and distribution partner promotion initiatives.
• Assist in managing marketing budget to achieve corporate goals.
• Work closely with other members of the Marketing Team, as well as the Creative Center and the Business Intelligence team.
• Support other key marketing efforts as needed.
Requirements
• 2-3 years experience in marketing, with specific analytics experience
• Exceptionally-detailed knowledge of metrics, specifically A/B, multi-variant testing and ROI analysis
• Fluency with lifetime value marketing and proven track record of hitting goals at or below set acquisition costs
• Excellent written and verbal communications and strong presentation skills.
• Passion for marketing and ability to consistently stay ahead of market trends
• Highly creative; ability to generate ideas and execute against them
• MBA strongly preferred
