Manager, Digital & Communications
AXN Philippines is currently seeking a passionate digital marketing and communications specialist with a deep understanding of the social media landscape and digital culture. The candidate should possess the ability to capitalize and transcend media platforms to reach, connect and influence consumers in an ever-changing environment.
This digital champion will have strong creative analytical abilities and will run the digital and social media channels, spearheading innovative content marketing and growing communities and engagement, as well as creatively generate buzz via earned media for the channels to ultimately drive tune in to the dynamic Sony channels in the Philippines. Key Responsibilities:
• Recommend, develop, implement and oversee strategic social media initiatives and PR campaigns in line with the branding and positioning of the channels
• Create, implement, analyze, and optimize targeted and custom digital activities including social media management and securing good channel partners
• Align with the general marketing direction of the channels and translate to social media activities by creating, implementing and sustaining a specific social media marketing plan
• Analyze and provide weekly and monthly digital marketing metrics and lead status reports
• Manage responses, questions, comments and/or complaints regarding all channels
• Manage and forge strategic partners, PR agencies, and digital suppliers to ensure channel promotional deliverables
• Review new technology and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
• Lead and provide all aspects of Digital Marketing and Public Relations including communication development, implementation and execution of campaigns for the channels in the Philippines
• Align with channel marketing plans to create, execute and track channel public relations and digital activities
• Manage press, publicity, and communication for the channels in the Philippines
• Any other duties assigned from time to time
Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Communications or related field of study
• A minimum of at least 3 to 5 years of digital marketing/communications experience (experience in television entertainment, media or advertising industries preferred)
• Strong project management skills with an ability to manage multiple projects
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
• An effective team player, able to work under pressure and tight timelines
• Fluent in digital media terms and metrics as well as of performance/digital marketing
• Google Analytics certification would be an added advantage
