Manager, Data & Process Integrity
The People & Organization (HR) Operations Team is seeking a Manager, Data & Process Integrity. Under the general direction of the VP, P&O Operations, the Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence with all types of global HR data and processes across all the functional areas of P&O, and within a variety of HRIS platforms (Workday, Cornerstone, Service Now, etc.). As part of a significant effort the team is undergoing to enhance SPE's HRIS and data management infrastructure, the Manager will help define how data is changed, maintained and accessed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as P&O's data steward, ensuring data integrity and process optimization for all P&O transactional processes globally
• Drive operational excellence throughout the global P&O team by proposing and developing methods to automate, optimize and streamline HR processes, data maintenance and reporting
• Oversee process changes such as transition of transactional work from offshore service center to a Culver City based team
• Ensure the timeliness of transactions by managing global payroll timelines and various report and other deliverable timelines
• Develop and manage audit processes and resolve data discrepancies
• Manage the various P&O Sharepoint sites, and assist and train users on navigation
• Produce process documentation, tools, and keep P&O community up to date on any changes to processes. Deliver training to P&O new hires.
• Partner with colleagues across the P&O, Information Technology, & Legal departments on the implementation of an HR case management system and automation technologies, and serve as the subject matter expert on data integrity requirements
• Serve as the subject matter expert on HR data integrity and HR data processes as part of a team charged with implementation of a new payroll system
• Manage a small team of full-time and temporary employees who support the HR data
• Provide updates, reports and analysis of HR data to manager and P&O Sr. Team on a regular and ad-hoc basis
• Promote an environment where the highest regard for confidentiality and data security is a core principle
• Incorporate industry best practices and apply knowledge of organizational dynamics to promote HR effectiveness
• Experience, Knowledge & Abilities:
• Expertise in Workday or other HRIS systems
• Knowledge of various project management principles and practices
• Familiarity with other HR technology solutions, preferably Cornerstone and Service Now
• Willingness and ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
• Ability to develop strong business relationships focusing on communication and customer service
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and with all levels of management
• Comfort with speaking clearly and expressing self well in groups and in one-to-one conversations, and through formal and informal written documents
• Possesses a positive attitude and contributes to a positive working environment
• Experience working with a global employee base
Requirements:
• At least 2 years of experience with Workday or other HRIS system
• 1-2 years of employee management, mentoring or coaching experience
• Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills, a strong customer service focus and attention to detail
• Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of tools (Office, Sharepoint, Teams, etc.) with excellent skills in Excel
• Must have a strong sense of integrity, confidentiality, diplomacy and professionalism
• Able to take initiative, effective at prioritizing multiple projects, comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Bachelor's degree preferred
