Integrated Media Lead - Motion Pictures
The Media Lead will develop and launch innovative marketing campaigns across a diverse range of Sony Pictures films.
This role will require a strong leader who is able to make high level decisions, communicate effectively, and influence the greater marketing organization. This includes building synergies within media team and other title leads, various departments at Sony Pictures (publicity, promotions, creative, etc), presenting strategies and results to executives and filmmakers, guiding senior members of the media agency and data service providers, and working closely with a wide variety of media partners/platforms to deliver reach and innovative media programs.
Core Responsibilities:
He/She will be responsible for guiding direct reports and the corresponding agency teams to build a best-in-class marketing product. This includes: creating and implementing media strategy, developing an effective media mix, overseeing creative media programs and partnerships, delivering an effective audience strategy, and identifying actionable campaign analytics to inform optimizations and future planning. This individual must be passionate about data and technology and drive departmental innovation that includes: Media Mix Optimizations, 1st Party Audience collection and activation, ConnectedTV (ATV, OTT, FEP), Ad Verification, etc.
In addition, he/she will be responsible for helping to bridge the gap between the newly formed In-House Digital Execution team and the Media Planning and Strategy team. This will include assisting in developing process, identifying cadence for reporting (and corresponding deliverables), creating partnerships with new platforms, and evolving the greater media practice with a focus on audience and conversion.
The expectation for the Media Lead is that he/she will work with the other title leads and support the SVPs of Media by having intimate knowledge of their assigned campaigns while also guiding the innovative projects and marketing partnerships.
Skills and Requirements:
• Media Marketing planning and buying across all channels including digital, broadcast, radio, OOH. Entertainment Marketing preferred but not required
• BA/BS Degree Required
• Media Math including GRPs/TRPs, CPMs, CPCs, CPVs, CPEs and Reach/Frequency
• Partner/Publisher landscape including the following categories: Cable, Network, Endemic, Sports, Social, Video, Programmatic, Search, Display, OTT/FEP, etc.
• Reporting Tools including iSpot, ComScore, Datorama, DoubleClick, Facebook Insights, Google/YouTube Analytics
• Big data and advertising technology, including 3rd party ad-serving and tag management solutions, data management platforms, and audience buying platforms
• Third party ad verification partners to monitor and optimize media (ex IAS, MOAT, DoubleVerify
Skill In:
• Excellent written, oral communication, and effective team building skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Docs
• Self-starter, Passionate, committed with a high level of energy
