Director, Security/Compliance COE Lead
Compliance CoE Leads' key responsibility is to develop and execute top-down strategic initiatives to better align the organization with the core vision of Executive Leadership and with the changing business landscape. The CoE Lead is responsible for establishing a high degree of consistency and work quality across teams. The CoE Lead will provide high level oversight and will push down the strategic agenda across his or her teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Drive deriving security roadmap keeping overall roadmap around S/4 HANA, Ariba, BW / BPC and overall SAP portfolio
• Partner with on-going initiatives to handle security and compliance needs around SHAPE, IFRS, TV Roll outs, etc.
• Manage security and compliance operations
• Optimize user provisioning and user access processes to enhance customer experience interacting with SAP eco system (ECC, S/4, Ariba, BW, BPC etc.)
• Partner with key business and IT stakeholders to manage security and compliance related topics
• Address challenges within current SAP landscape in the short term while leading Security / Compliance roadmap
• Manage on-shore and off-shore (Poland and India) teams
• Develop a 1-3 year system roadmap based on research of leading practices, existing project pipeline and production trends
• Participate in initiative design for strategic initiatives in their CoE area, or across CoEs to ensure roadmap alignment. Participate in initiative execution, per the design.
• Identify, analyze and recommend process improvements - providing consulting to Support Leads, Solution Owners and Project Managers regarding suggested problems / remediation for feedback, particularly assessment of cross CoE impact, and impact related to strategic initiatives underway
• Communicate, align and standardize the organization through collaboration with other CoE Leads, within SGS and outside to the Business & IT community
• Collaborate with Solution Owners to provide quality assurance and oversight across solutions being delivered
• Resource management, performance management and escalation point for assigned Support Leads and Solution Owners, and directional oversight and performance awareness of all indirect reports within their area of specialization
Secondary Responsibilities:
• Act as point of escalation for Solution Owner, as needed, including early consulting in solution selection as owner of go-forward vision
• Provide change-related consultation to Solution Owners, as needed, including emergency request confirmation; debrief with Solution Owners on rejected changes, etc.
• Consult Support Leads, Solution Owners and Service Management regarding capacity/demand balancing and requests
• Rotational program - Evaluate options / requests to rotate resources between Support and Project work
• Work with the Communications & Training team, encouraging CoE resources to develop the right expertise in their CoE area, in alignment with strategic direction and system roadmap
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree
• 8 years of relevant work experience in security compliance, 3 years in lead role driving security roadmap
• Ability to create an atmosphere in which timely and high-quality information flows smoothly up and down, inside and outside the team; encourages open expression of ideas and opinions
• Supports, promotes, and ensures alignment with the organizational vision and values; understand how an organization must change considering external and internal trends and influences
• Strong background in SAP (ECC, S/4, Ariba, BW, BPC etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving skills; strong analytical skills and ability to get to the root of issues
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong leadership skills, ability to communicate with, partner with and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
