Director, Digital Creative Advertising
The Director, Digital Creative Advertising is responsible for developing global Digital Audio/Visual (A/V) content for the lifecycle marketing campaign (theatrical through home entertainment release windows). The role reports directly to the EVP, Global Creative Advertising and ensures all A/V materials are built on strategy and are aligned to the other A/V materials of the campaign. This role will work closely with A/V vendors to develop digital first creative that aligns with the overall campaign.
Because of the nature of this position, it's vital that they work directly with other teams throughout the marketing organization, including:
• Global Digital Marketing to ensure the materials are aligned with the rest of the digital campaign. Though this role is charged with creating paid digital A/V content, the digital marketing team will place and optimize both the organic and paid digital A/V material, so the groups must collaborate on a daily basis.
• Research team to make sure the materials adhere to campaign rules and are aligned with recent material testing.
• Media department to make sure the deliverables and deadlines of the paid digital A/V media campaign are met, which could include development and delivery of Meta, YouTube, TikTok and non-linear radio spots ad formats. This person should be familiar with all digital specs and formats.
They will also manage a budget and work with outside vendors on the production and finishing of the digital A/V material. They will secure internal and external approvals on all materials before they are finished and put into the marketing campaign.
The role must have deep experience both in a studio marketing team and working with and implementing digital advertising, while understanding the limitations and possibilities of the medium.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Production of Digital A/V materials including:
• Trailer Materials: Cut Downs, Socially Optimized Trailers (vertical, captioned, etc.), Trailer Bumpers, Swipe-Up Assets
• Campaign Materials: Digital :60's, :30's, :15's, :06's, Socially Optimized Spots, (vertical, captioned, etc.), Motion Posters, Swipe-Up Assets
• Finishing of digital /AV materials with the production team
• Approval of A/V assets from internal and external teams
• Regular communication with various marketing departments
• Track media deliverables and ensure creative is delivered on or before deadline
REQUIREMENTS
• 360 campaign knowledge and experience with developing strategy, social, digital, print and AV creative
• Experience managing a creative agency, including crafting creative briefs and giving feedback. Prior agency experience a plus
• Strong understanding of the digital landscape and tracks the consumer behaviors trends within the landscape
• Proven track record of creating first-to-market digital/social A/V creative utilizing new technologies or mediums to connect consumers to brands in meaningful ways
• Understanding of Digital Reporting Tools, Data Insights including Reach/Frequency/Engagement metrics
• Understand social platform differences in order to develop creative that is best suited for audiences e.g. sound off/on, optimizing for scroll, native audio options
