Digital Account Executive
Digital Account Executive- Italy
Fixed Term Contract - 6 months (July 1st- December 31st)
Scope of role: Support retailers and Marketing/Digital leads in Italy to create and develop insight-led promotional and commercial plans, driving profitability and increased revenues.
The resource will be reporting to the Italian Digital commercial lead.
Main responsibilities:
• Be data driven and keep on top of industry and competitor trends. Understand how to use and interrogate data:
• To support client positioning, execute promotional and commercial plans and pitch documents
• Track performance of promotional and commercial initiatives, recommend opportunities to optimize for future activity
• To track industry developments or competitor activity and identify potential changes to strategies/plans
• Insight: liaise closely with the European insight teams
• Closely monitor digital stores to ensure consistent placement of Sony titles in our retailer environments and correct execution of marketing campaigns. Be expert in Italy on our digital footprint
• Manage day-to-day business operations in Italy. Key stakeholders will include Digital retailers, Global Mastering & Servicing and the LA digital services team:
• Be the day-to-day contact for operational requests, escalate in a timely manner critical decisions or approvals required
• Liaise with local and LA marketing and client services team to provide: avails communication, digital ratings, correct Italian theatrical titles, local operational details and review
• Track dubbing process to ensure titles are ready for delivery to retailers – work with GMS to ensure timings align to ensure smooth delivery to clients
• Marketing growth project: be point person in territory for marketing tasks with support from a European marketing lead. These tasks will be time-bound (minimum 6 months duration):
• Development of localized creative for film launch campaigns based on global toolkits
• Management of social and external communication channels to support film launch plans
• Launches to press of new titles (localize fact sheets, communicate, provide screeners)
• Develop, approve and deploy media plans with local media agency for film campaign launches
• Approve creative assets from digital partners
• Catalogue communication to support franchise releases
What we're looking for: A bright, self-starting individual who can take ownership on tasks and operate with effectiveness with geographically separated teams and clients.
4-5 years experience in a professional environment (preferably within the entertainment industry).
Strong digital background and interest; Creative, Analytical profile; Excellent Microsoft Office skills a must. Excellent communication skills. Must be fluent in English and mother-tongue Italian.
Proven experience managing multiple projects and stakeholders with success.
