Coordinator, Post Media Operations
Summary:
Position to liaise directly with Project Managers and Technical Production team.
Core responsibilities:
• Plan and Schedule Mastering projects, digital video and audio asset coordination and management.
• Support standard operating procedures, workflows, and specifications for Mastering including but not limited to: Picture, Audio, and Subtitle materials.
• Communicate and manage timelines from beginning to end, identify issues and find solutions; and escalate to Department Manager for mitigation.
• Responsible for timely data entry, integrity and accuracy when entering data into our proprietary systems to ensure the highest quality inventory and data. Position will provide technical knowledge of video / audio / subtitling post production processes.
• Working closely with the Project Managers, to schedule work orders for Mastering projects based on priority timelines.
• Manage, monitor, and update all timelines and set expectations to meet deadlines. Facilitate the day-to-day activities of manufacturing to ensure masters are created to spec.
• Analyze work orders to efficiently schedule assignments and tasks. Escalate when issues arise (rejections, manufacturing delays, etc.) and provide corrective action as needed.
• Maintain all mastering activity on work order systems to track and provide project and title statuses. Analyze quality management metrics for mastering (originals, versioning).
• Resolve technical issues such as rejections and source content issues.
• Work with Department Manager to improve processes, continually enhance and improve skills through on-going process and systems training.
• Attend necessary technical and process informational sessions.
• Special Initiatives - Support and, as required, participate in internal and external matrix teams who are involved in special initiatives and projects, which can include: Information Sessions, Management Presentations, team building exercises, cross training, staff development, etc.
Knowledge of:
Video, Audio and/or Subtitle Mastering along with post production processes, rejection resolution, digital delivery
Experience working within the film and video industry with responsibility for technical management of video, subtitles and/or audio, digital workflows, file formats
Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project Management
Microsoft Outlook
