Coordinator, Marketing & Distribution- Stage 6 Films
The Coordinator, Marketing & Distribution will report to the SVP of Marketing & Distribution for Stage 6 Films and Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions. This position will support in nearly all areas of Marketing, working with internal teams, vendors, and filmmakers.

Responsibilities
The Coordinator will primarily coordinate the worldwide marketing & distribution needs of the department, focusing on the following tasks:
• Marketing & Publicity materials delivery & tracking [requesting delivery, tracking delivery, posting assets in internal databases, obtaining assets from external databases, managing asset access internally and externally, and deadline enforcement]
• Process vendor invoice payment and tracking using SPE's AP system
• Support booking of photographers, publicists and EPK crews for our productions.
• Work closely with Legal Affairs to ensure that all 3rd-party marketing assets are cleared prior to posting for internal use
• Interdepartmental communications regarding acquisitions and productions
• Internal and external PowerPoint and/or Keynote presentations, and corresponding AV such as sizzle reels
• Market research
• Manage film festival and awards submissions
• Work closely with PR firms to coordinate film premieres or special screenings
• Travel arrangements for talent and executive
• Track and report actual spending in real time to avoid going over VOD and theatrical marketing & distribution budgets
• Handling SPWA and Stage 6 Films' B2B online presence, to best present our films on the Stage 6 Films/SPWA website, the Wikipedia profiles, IMDb profiles, as well as social media
• Attend departmental and inter-departmental meetings and take notes pertaining to all marketing & distribution duties for the department
• Upon request, advise and collaborate on the selection and/or creation of marketing assets such as photography, clips, trailers, spots, social media assets
• Manage photography storage, touch-ups, and approvals, as well as managing the communication between labs and our internal storage.
• Arrange and schedule meetings
• Process SVP's Expense reports
• Answering phones, taking messages, and connecting calls
Education
, Years of Experience, Specialized Knowledge or Skills Required:
• BA degree preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in entertainment
Knowledge of:
• The film industry
• Independent film
• Film Festivals
• Awards Submissions
• Social Media
• B2B Websites
• Wide range of marketing assets and specs
Skill In:
• Problem solving
• Managing around conflicting ideas, priorities, and timelines
• Notetaking and agenda building

• Excel for tracking and assisting in managing budgets
• Ariba for invoice submissions and approvals
