Coordinator, Global Customer Experience- Home Entertainment
Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) is responsible for the sales, marketing and distribution of new release movie, television and catalog titles to physical and digital retailers within the home entertainment window.
Reporting to the VP, Global Customer Experience in the SPHE marketing division, this position works in collaboration with cross-functional teams that include Sales, Sales Planning, Brand Marketing, Creative, Operations and Legal to develop end-to-end retail marketing programs for SPHE releases.
A SPHE Global Customer Experience Coordinator's focus will be to support the physical and digital account managers in SPHE. They will be an essential component to the team's planning and program execution efforts with key digital accounts, dotcom and physical accounts such as Amazon, Apple, Google, Microsoft, Vudu, BestBuy, Target and Walmart.
Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support by answering phone calls, writing memos, and overseeing calendars for multiple managers within Global Customer Experience SPHE team
• Maintain a basic understanding of applicable retail and digital accounts (iTunes, Google Play, Microsoft, PlayStation) along with their needs and expectations
• Oversee internal and external deliverables for client merchandising efforts, ensuring objectives are consistent with overall customer marketing approach
• Collaborate with SPHE cross-functional teams: Sales, Sales Planning, Brand Marketing, Creative, Operations and Legal to develop end-to-end retail marketing programs for SPHE releases
• Maintain weekly Competitive Tracking and Street Day Merchandising Recaps, supporting the team with essential data to adjust strategies and plans
• Create and design templates for various marketing initiatives and pitch decks, assisting with program execution effort for new release movie, television, and catalog titles
• Coordinate International marketing needs and updates as it relates to key global retailers
• Work on ad hoc projects or other related duties as needed
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 1-2 years of entertainment or packaged goods experience
• 1-2 years of project management experience
• Skilled in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Advanced Photoshop experience preferred
• Must be extremely organized and detail oriented
• Must be able to manage multiple projects and prioritize deliverables
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills
• Work well under pressure and with cross-functional peers
• Ability to learn and adapt to new processes
• Must be flexible – ability to work well in an environment where needs and priorities are subject to revision
