Business Development and Branded Content Manager
Sony Pictures Television Inc., is currently seeking a talented employee to work within the Sony Pictures Television Ad Sales Group with an absolute passion for Business Development on: Branded Content, Product Integration and Cross Divisional Projects with an absolute focus on closing deals.
An experienced sales and business development dealmaker and deal closer who comes from a Branded Content / Custom Content background in Sales or Business Development, with strong acumen and ability to leverage and utilize our multiple platform's strengths to generate additional revenue on new and current business lines.
The position's primary responsibilities are to lead the strategy, development and follow thru of all strategic initiatives for all of SPTN Cross Divisional Portfolio opportunities.
Reporting to the VP of Ad Sales, Affiliate Sales and Digital Sales as part of the Ad Sales group, while working hand in hand with the Brand Partnerships and Innovation group.
RESPONSABILITIES
• Primarily Responsible for the business development, strategic positioning and revenue generation of the commercial Branded Cross Divisional Projects along with SPTN Mexico Ad Sales representatives.
• Serve as the Business Development liaison between SPTN Ad Sales and Brand Partnership and Innovation in larger scale media projects.
• Lead all the Cross Divisional New Ventures communication between SPT Ad Sales and Brand Partnerships and Innovation, developing a steady flow of streamlined information on all commercial opportunities.
• Lead conversation between agency/client direct and SPTN Ad Sales in the development and overall buy in of a larger commercial cross divisional business opportunity.
• Partner with Ad Sales and BPI new client custom business opportunities that may arise from the wide variety of products within the divisions portfolio.
• Provide direction and evolve project solutions as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
• 6-8 years of hands on experience in Business Development, Branded Content, Product Integration or Content marketing.
• Relentless in the pursuit of generating new business opportunities and cultivating relationships that can accelerate revenue growth for an organization
• A solid client direct business experience, a vast network with meaningful client relationships
• Experience in selling large scale media projects and significant partnerships.
• Forward-thinking. Work with Divisional Leads (Ad Sales, Theatrical, Music, Production, Distribution, Digital) to develop Market Firsts that will secure new clients and grow existing relationships.
• Skilled at influencing clients, but also on how to influence internal partner team behaviors and strategies
• Effective communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, Bilingual, English and Spanish
• Experience developing a Business Development pipeline and executing on an annual Budget
• Ability to translate internal and external consumer data in actionable insights.
• Passion for content marketing and ability to consistently stay ahead of market trends.
• Bachelor's degree (In Marketing would be a plus)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
