SPT Business Development/ Administrative Assistant II
The Sony Pictures Television Business Development (BD) team has an open Administrative Assistant II role in their Culver City headquarters. This position will report directly to the Senior Vice President and primarily responsible for administrative support to the SVP, BD team and other executives.
The BD team for Sony Pictures Television is responsible for strategic analysis, business launches and mergers and acquisitions worldwide to support the networks, production and distribution operations.
Responsibility:
1. Administrative:
• Provide organizational and administrative support to SVP
• Seamlessly coordinate with offices of senior management to quickly schedule meetings
• Manage calendar/schedule
• Book conference rooms
• Process expense reports
• Travel coordination and itineraries
• Request and manage Security clearance
• Coordinate team events and/or training
• Order office supplies
• Handle phone calls
• Maintain working knowledge of company Policies and Procedures
• Conduct internet research
• Word processing (composing and generating letters, memos, fax cover sheets) and distributing documents
• Other general administrative duties (processing mail, copying etc.)
2. Special Projects (includes but may not be limited to):
• Responsible for process to onboard new hires using Service Now, Ariba etc.
• Responsible for reporting and tracking
• Assist projects with spreadsheets, presentation, documentation, reporting and/or research
• Assist with project budgets and invoices
• Administrative coordination across projects
• Miscellaneous duties as required
Required Qualifications:
• Highly motivated and professional (self-starter)

• Proactive, with excellent communication skills, and providing good follow up
• Has discretion and integrity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Strong organization skills and able to handle multiple projects and effectively prioritize
• Strong inter-personal skills across all levels of management and excellent teamwork capabilities
• Aptitude to learn new applications (ServiceNow, etc)
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills required
• Knowledge about admin tools (Concur, TAAS, etc.)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Attention to details are required
Experience/education:
• 4 years of admin support or similar
• Experience in working in fast-paced environment
• Education: B.A., B.S., or equivalent education preferred
