Administrative Assistant, People & Organization
This exciting, new position will provide a wide range of administrative support for the Vice President, Global Talent Acquisition and the Vice President, Global Talent and Learning. This selected individual will play a pivotal role in supporting and executing talent acquisition and talent management and organization development strategies for Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE).
Responsibilities:
• Schedule meetings involving numerous attendees
• Meeting coordination which includes booking conference rooms and meeting preparation
• Training session set up and support -
• Ordering catering
• Arranging Audio Visual services
• Partnering with facilities to ensure the correct room layout
• Preparing and setting up materials
• Managing complex calendars
• Processing expense reports
• Use of Microsoft office such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Tracking training session enrollment (via Learning Management system and manual excel)
• Submitting invoices and keeping budget spreadsheets updated
• Responding to learning inquiries that come into the Global Talent and Learning Sony Pictures Entertainment inbox.
• New Hire Orientation support, including room set up, swag bag preparation
• Assisting with data entry into the Learning Management system to track training enrollment
• Other general administrative duties (processing mail, copying, etc.)
• Miscellaneous duties as required

Required Skills:
• 2-3 years' experience as an administrative assistant ideally in a Human Resources environment
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
• Must be detail-oriented and high volume of complex information
• Must be able to multi-task and prioritize to ensure that all assignments are completed in an accurate and timely manner
• Self-starter, who proactively identifies gaps and structures actions to address
• Ability to take direction from numerous executives and prioritize workload
• Dependability attention to detail are required
• Must exhibit discretion and understand the importance of confidentiality
• Excellent communication skills – written and oral (must have a professional and courteous demeanor)
• Ideal candidate would have an interest in a career within Human Resources
• Prefer candidate to have a BA or BS in HR or business relevant disciplines
