Administrative Assistant III - Distribution & Networks
The LA based sales team supports negotiations for key global deals e.g. Netflix, Amazon, AMC, FIC etc and collaborates closely with the regional sales teams in EMEA, APAC & LATAM to obtain availability, rights and pricing information. The Distribution & Networks business is one of the divisions of Sony Pictures Television based in Culver City and is responsible for global client negotiation and management across new business development, Home Entertainment (eg. Itunes) and licensing features, series and formats to linear and digital platforms worldwide.
Responsibilities:
• Provide organizational and administrative support to EVP and SVP
• Coordinate travel, visas, schedules and other travel logistics
• Generate travel and expense reports
• Schedule/Calendar/Phone management
• Invoice tracking & processing
• Create and update presentations, letters, and other forms of management reports and communications
• Manage calendar and activities (Setting meetings, Call list, etc.)
Skills
& Competencies:
• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Lotus Notes, Internet savvy)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong written and verbal presentation skills
• Superb organizational and time management skills
• Proactive and thorough in their approach
• Takes responsibility and ownership for tasks
• Can work independently to achieve goals and has a positive attitude
• Has a global perspective and appreciation for cultural differences
• Excellent oral (professional and friendly demeanor) and written (spelling, punctuation, grammar) communications skills

• At ease in fast-paced, high energy, ever-changing work environment
• In Depth knowledge of the television/entertainment industry
• 3-5 years administrative and organizational support for busy executive
• Experience working in a fast pace environment with tight deadlines
• Education: B.A., B.S., or equivalent preferred
