Admin Assistant II - Distribution Business Affairs
ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II, SPT DISTRIBUTION BUSINESS AFFAIRS
SPT Distribution Business Affairs is responsible for structuring, negotiating and drafting agreements to distribute SPE's library of feature films and series in the U.S. across all television media, including broadcast syndication, basic cable, premium pay, SVOD and AVOD. It also supports SPT's U.S. Ad Sales business by providing legal and business affairs support for advertiser integration deals and advertiser sales representation deals.
Summary: Provide organizational support and perform full range of administrative duties, including handling phones, calendars, meeting coordination, travel arrangements, filing, and drafting correspondence, for the Distribution Business Affairs team, consisting of 1 Senior Vice President and 3 additional Business Affairs attorneys.
Job Responsibilities:
• Answer, screen and field phone calls
• Maintain calendar
• Make travel arrangements
• Coordinate internal and external meetings and calls
• Organize, maintain and keep track of a heavy volume of department files (on and off-site)
• Manage document flow, including printing, filing and organizing contracts, emails and other paperwork, and
• Collect and prepare information/documents for all meetings and conferences
• Keep track of necessary office supplies and process requisitions
• Reconcile and process monthly expense reports
• General administrative duties (processing mail, copying, faxing, etc.)
• Any special projects as required
Job Requirements:
• 3-5 years of experience as an administrative assistant
• Excellent written (spelling, punctuation, grammar) and oral communication skills
• Strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint required)
• Must be detailed-oriented and able to prioritize, multi-task, and problem solve
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
• Must be proactive and dependable with a team-player attitude
• At ease in a fast-paced, high energy, ever-changing work environment with shifting priorities
• Must demonstrate professionalism, discretion and common sense when communicating with all levels of internal management and staff and with outside clients.
• Prior administrative support experience in a law firm, business and/or legal affairs, or entertainment industry-related environment preferred but not required
• College degree preferred
