Financial Analyst -Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (205564-

Assist in gathering data for sales reporting and financial analysis
Assist manager in preparing Price Protection, Rebates and special month end accruals
This position will serve as the Finance liaison to various departments of the Company, including: Production Services, Client Operations, Sales Admin, Customer Finance
Responsible for resolving issues that arise at the returns facilities
Responsible for necessary data entries to resolve customer related issues
Responsible for researching customer discrepancies
Prepare required journal entries
Monitor daily sales, returns, and adjustment exceptions
Monitor weekly open orders and returns
Assist in some systems testing
Assist in preparing ad hoc analysis and reporting
Responsible for all adjustments and orders get credited or invoiced

Required Skills:B.S./B.A. Finance and/or Accounting degree
Proficient level of organization, written and interpersonal skills
Proficient level of project management and planning skills
Proficient level of understanding of accounting and financial policies and principles
Detail oriented as well as analytical
Ability to operate effectively in a cross functional team environment
Strong initiative to improve work procedures
Ability to perform effectively, accurately, and efficiently in a dynamic environment
Ability to coordinate information gathering from multiple sources in a timely manner
Strong knowledge of Windows based computer programs (specifically Excel)
Strong follow through skills
Team player
Entertainment knowledge a plus
Experience in JDE Oneworld a plus
