As a member of the Legacy Marketing department, this individual will work closing with external partners and internal team members to develop and implement digital marketing, media and strategy plans for a portfolio of global music artists.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Challenge and inspire internal and external partners (digital media, lifestyle, music, social and technology partners) to secure innovative features, visibility and marketing opportunities that help differentiate and promote Legacy’s artists.
• Lead a small media team to ensure strong visibility of Legacy’s songs, albums and artists on relevant media platforms.
• Work closely and collaborate with internal stakeholders (primarily the marketing leads/product managers, social and content teams) to create innovative marketing and content initiatives with digital partners.
• Seek out, structure, and execute new digital opportunities, partnerships and technologies to secure meaningful marketing presence.
• Build and manage relationships with online partners, affiliates and influencers.
• Direct and manage any 3rd party/external digital marketing efforts. Evaluate and present results of such efforts.
• Prepare regular digital marketing and partnership status reports.
Qualifications
• Passionate music fan with broad knowledge of music and the digital landscape.
• Established network of strong relationships within the digital entertainment, media and technology spaces.
• Experience with social media platforms and analytics a plus.
• Broad and strategic perspective on the global technology landscape and how it can be leveraged to help market and promote Legacy’s artists.
• Creative self-starter with ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• 10 years of applicable digital marketing and/or media experience.
• Outstanding attention to organization and detail.
• Previous management experience strongly desired.
• Collaborative personality with strong communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
