Video Coordinator (Temporary Position)
As music videos become more of a priority, the immediate need for support in the new Video Commissioning department becomes crucial to the better management and strategic planning of video assets. A Coordinator position is therefore requested to alleviate some of the diverse tasks involved in the support of music videos and the creation of other audio-visual materials.
Responsibilities
• Handle departmental office functions and procedures.
• Keep calendars current.
• Update label copy information.
• Manage logistics needs as appropriate.
• Follow up and ensure proper delivery of materials.
• Keep accounts current with vendor.
• Attend video shoots when needed.
• Maintaining all non-financial records for the department (i.e. keeping records of all treatments, budgets, etc. associated with each video project).
• Supplying the company with regular departmental updates.
• Organizing and updating our video files.
• Arranging travel.
• Filing expense reports.
• Handling day-to-day logistics for members of the department (i.e. keeping schedules, taking messages, etc.).
• Maintaining up-to-date contact information on production companies, producers and directors.
Qualifications
Music industry experience preferred
College degree preferred but not required.
Prior administrative experience required.
Strong administrative computer skills and solid organizational and communication skills.
Must be able to recall information quickly and accurately.
Working knowledge of video production and post production process is helpful.
Must be dependable, reliable and organized.
