The Orchard is looking for an Urban Division Coordinator to join our East Village (NYC) office.
Responsibilities
• Maintain updated release schedules, including upcoming deadlines, events, and meetings for director/manager, as well as the artists.
• Assist in tracking of marketing spends and impact.
• Aggregate market data on potential signings, and create regular deliverables to closers.
• Build strong relationships with artists and artist management
• Assist with and contribute to overall department goals.
Qualifications
• At least 1 year experience in the music industry in a management, production, or curation capacity
• Highly advanced organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize to tight deadlines.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office products and Google apps.
• Impeccable listening skills. Ability to actively listen to communication in its entirety and ask clarifying questions when appropriate.
• Strong written communication with the ability to learn and engage intended audience.
• Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Proven ability to source and cultivate relationships with third parties
• In-depth knowledge urban landscape a plus
