Responsibilities
• Lead Masterworks’ streaming and sales strategy
• Manage a team of 5 people with account management, release planning and analysis responsibilities
• Propose and execute campaigns for artists, new & catalog releases, playlists, and other strategic initiatives to maximize global exposure, streams and sales for artists and releases
• Work closely with artist management, Sony Music Sales, and Masterworks marketing and release planning teams to brainstorm and execute creative artist and product campaigns
• Oversee Masterworks’ relationship and business with key streaming, download, and physical sales partners such as Apple Music, Spotify and Amazon
• Communicate the performance of releases and partners, and actionable recommendations on strategy to Masterworks team
• Present key information about releases and artists via regular sales calls and face-to-face music presentations
• Use reporting tools to assess the success of releases and campaigns
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree in related field
• 7 years of prior experience in account/client management or digital content sales, distribution, or promotion
• Experience managing a team
• Prior experience at a record label, music distribution or digital music provider
• Excellent knowledge of streaming trends
• Proficient knowledge of Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and other audio streaming platforms
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent time-management, organization, communication and presenting skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and balance priorities
• A passion for music and the music business
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
