The Orchard has an immediate opening for a Manager, Global On Platform Advertising and Marketing Technology. The Orchard seeks a motivated individual for the Digital Advertising Department with a passion for music, video, and other media. This passion must be personal, but also exist as an academic interest in how these media are positioned within our culture. In this role, you will assist the department in advancing our groundbreaking services to clients and owned/operated properties. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Digital Advertising.
Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage global on platform advertising strategy
• Analyze and synthesize actionable insights about fans to create profiles that improve overall marketing and sales efforts
• Work with global sales and marketing teams to create and execute media strategies on revenue generating platforms including monthly Spotify ad credits
• Maintain audience data infrastructure across advertising platforms to ensure proper tracking and segmentation
• Use internal advertising reporting system to provide monthly analytics to global teams, develop best practices, and ensure overall quality of our global efforts.
• Ownership of client-facing advertising and marketing tools.
• Work with internal product teams to launch new iterations of our advertising toolset and continually update our advertising product offerings.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate must have a general understanding of how digital advertising is part of a company’s ecosystem and can be used to achieve a variety of goals. A penchant for learning, the ability to have macro & micro perspectives as needed, and the intention to clearly communicate with others are absolute requirements.
Further Requirements:
• Two or more years of advertising experience
• Experience with Spotify Advertising, Google Tag Manager, Audience creation in platforms, and business intelligence tools
• Knowledge of HTML and Javascript is a plus
• Familiarity with Spotify, Excel, Google Docs, HTML, Photoshop
• Fluency in media-buying, planning and research
• Interest in following advertising and media trends and the music industry
• Working knowledge of media analytics software
• Organizational and multitasking abilities to work with high volume of campaigns
• Passion for music and interest in the music industry
• Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate on projects and be a part of a team
