Monument Records, a division of Sony Music Entertainment, is a multi-genre label based in Nashville. Under the leadership of Jason Owen and Shane McAnally, Monument launched in 2017 with flagship artists Walker Hayes and Caitlyn Smith.
Monument Records is searching for a marketing professional with a special blend of skills -- a highly organized multitasker who enjoys fostering professional relationships and taking ownership of developing ''out of the box'' brand campaigns.
The Marketing Manager serves as the central hub of all marketing efforts inside of the label supporting marketing, radio, digital, streaming, brand partnerships, and creative strategies. This role requires comprehensive communication and coordination both internally and externally in order to keep projects moving forward while maintaining the overall message and brand. A willingness to serve as a utility player is a must

Responsibilities
• Develop and execute full marketing plans and campaigns
• Create timelines of project needs and key dates/deadlines with all departments and oversee the timely delivery of those needs
• Coordinate all departments in relation to specific projects to maintail overall messaging and focus in order to constantly keep the ball moving forward
• Communicate status of projects to SVP, label staff and management routinely
• Serve as key liason to artist management from label
• Work in conjunction with artists, managers, and all departments to create, maintain, and evolve artist brands
• Seek out and maintain the knowledge of each artist and management team processes, goals, and overall efforts in order to remain on the same page with label efforts and maintain the most effective working relationships.
• Create and coordinate special events in conjunction with album releases, specific tour dates, and other events
• Brainstorm and create big marketing ideas, identify the best idea options, and execute those
• Seek, negotiate and develop brand relationships for artists, events, content product placement and beyond that can drive more exposure and revenue for the label and artists
• Create, book, and oversee advertising campaigns
• Manage project quarterly budgets
• Manage creation and distribution of marketing tools
Qualifications
• Professional marketing experience with major label, entertainment company or comparable organization -- generally gained through 3 or more years of experience
• A general knowledge of all departments within a label including digital, publicity, A&R, creative, production and promotion.
• Ability to manage a high volume of communication (phone calls and email) and meetings
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and execute a wide range of tasks with a heavy workload and tight deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Creativity and willingness to think outside the box
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of SoundScan, Mediabase, among other industry tracking tools
• Basic understanding of radio web and social analytics
• Working knowledge of streaming platforms and playlisting, brand management /artist development/public relations, digital marketing, social networks and digital tools
• Willing to work frequent nights/weekends and available for travel
