Essential Artist Services is an artist merchandising, sales, and branding company. Our range of services includes merchandise design/sourcing/manufacturing, full service tour and event vending, cohesive physical/digital e-commerce solutions, presale fulfillment, and warehouse/storage. Then consider this rewarding position as a Manager of Business Development and Sales at Essential Artist Services. This key member of the Essential Artist Services team will be responsible for executing and supporting the strategic and merchandising sales strategies for the company.

Responsibilities
• Provide best-in-class service and win artists’ business based on Essential Artist Services’ inherent capabilities in brand development, account management and technology systems. Develop and grow relationships with new customers in order to win their merchandising business. Work with the team to target new customers and negotiate new merchandising deals.
• Provide direct sales support and account management for an assigned list of customers while developing relationships with new customers and markets.
• Consult on the development and design of entire customer merchandise or promotional line (including T-shirts and other clothing, hats, stickers, posters, logo product, etc.).
• Meet annual sales, overhead, and profitability targets. Work to get the best possible price on created or procured products.
• Work with vendors to gain the most profitable pricing available for the products and services we provide.
• Attend weekly artist services sales meetings.
• Complete special projects and complete other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Working knowledge in merchandise or promotional product sales (typically gained through three or more years of experience); Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
• Understanding of touring artist marketplace, infrastructure and economics with history in multiple music genres a plus.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for revenue growth and sales strategy. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will be results driven and possess a positive, refreshing attitude when approaching new accounts.
Work in a newly remodeled open-floor plan environment in the Cool Springs area of Franklin, Tennessee, and receive outstanding benefits including medical/dental/life/disability insurance, 401(k) match, AND 28 paid days off per year (including paid holiday time Christmas Day through New Year’s Day).
No relocation expenses will be paid.
