HR Sourcing Recruiter (part-time)
Sony Music Entertainment is seeking a passionate HR professional to lend their multifaceted skill-set to both the Recruiting and HR Generalist teams.
Responsibilities
Part Time HR Sourcing Recruiter
Main Responsibilities:
Recruiting Support
• Full life cycle recruiting across a variety of open roles, functions and locations
• Full life cycle recruiting for interns
• Continuously partner with recruiting team and senior managers to provide support with sourcing and implement innovative recruiting strategies for top talent
• Assist in the coordination and execution of pre-screening and interviews
• Create, update and maintain a pipeline of candidates in company databases
• Keep records of candidate interviews and report them to recruitment manager
• Analyze and make recommendations for process improvements
• Create PowerPoint presentations
• Conduct research as necessary
Human Resources Support
• Provide assistance with onboarding paperwork and processes
• Help with additional ad hoc projects and administrative coverage
• Assist with employee verification
• Update and manage various HR documents
Administrative Support
• Planning and organization of company and college events, parties and gatherings
• Travel related duties
• Order and maintain supplies
• Process invoices
• All other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills
• Strong professionalism and exceptional communication skills
• Strong and demonstrated passion for the Human Resources field
• Ability to network and engage with potential candidates
• Motivate candidates
• Demonstrated experience with sourcing methodologies, including but not limited to Boolean searches and talent platform search tools
• Demonstrated ability to work proactively
• Capable of functioning collaboratively and independently
• Adequately prioritize tasks while demonstrating attention to detail and organization skills
• Able to work within required deadlines and adapt well under pressure
• Efficient follow through with instructions to complete assignments
• Clear, concise, effective written and spoken communication skills in English using proper spelling and grammar
• High-level of discretion when handling sensitive company and employee information
• Excellent presentation skills
• Superior attention to detail, organizational skills and multitasking abilities
• Proven ability to proactively engage candidates and manage them through the interview process
• Strong sense of urgency, initiative and problem solving skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, social media and employment job boards
• Typing abilities to exceed 40 words per minute
• College experience preferred
• This is a part time at will position with growth opportunities
Desired Skills

• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-4 years of direct recruiting experience, preferably in a high-growth startup environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to act swiftly under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and processes
• Experience working with and navigating applicant tracking systems
• Skilled with multiple recruiting techniques and tools
