Full Time Job

As part of the US Latin International Repertoire team, and working from the Coconut Grove, Florida location, candidate will be responsible for the development and execution of marketing and promotion campaigns for Latin Iberia artists from outside the U.S. The candidate will also manage a small project management team. This position is part of the Sony U.S. Latin Division.
Responsibilities
• Marketing Strategy:
• Work with relevant Latin Iberia repertoire owners, artist managers, and U.S. Latin resources to develop release plans, marketing campaigns, and development strategies tailored to the artist and music.
• Amplify content strategies originated by repertoire owners to drive awareness and community in the U.S.
• Seek out, set up and implement local in-market promotional opportunities.
• Benchmarking:
• Identify goals and objectives to guarantee short and long-term growth for the roster.
• Commercial Exploitation:
• Partner with revenue team to develop and implement commercial campaigns across all U.S. platforms.
• Seek music licensing opportunities and brand tie-ins.
• Release Planning:
• Coordinate local product launches of Latin Iberia repertoire with the U.S. Latin Release Planning team and in alignment with key stakeholders including the Latin Iberia Marketing Team, U.S. Latin Frontline, Digital Marketing, Revenue, and all other relevant departments.
• Touring:
• Support and assist in the promotion of live performances / touring in the US territory, in collaboration with promoters and media partners.
• Marketing & Promotion Budgeting:
• Plan, manage and control campaign budgets for individual projects efficiently, toward optimal results, including pre- and post-implementation.
• Reporting:
• Document, contextualize, and report campaigns’ progress and status to repertoire owners, artist managers, and U.S. Latin senior team members.
Qualifications
• Music industry experience
• 5 plus years related experience in international marketing, promotion, event planning, tour marketing, publicity, and digital
• 2 plus years of staff management experience.
• Must be bilingual- Spanish and English
• Ability to travel internationally frequently
• Experience reading and interpreting online analytics
• In-depth knowledge of the US Hispanic music market
• Must be technology savvy including PC and Mac OS
• Strong knowledge of Social Media
• Multicultural sensibility and tolerance
• Undergraduate degree preferred
• Ability to rally support from internal and outside partners
• Diplomatic attitude to manage numerous stakeholders to successful outcomes
