Full Time Job

• Would you love to use your marketing experience to develop initiatives in order to promote songs/content to churches and worship leaders?
If so, consider this position as the Director of Essential Worship (EW). Join a team that exists to resource worship leaders and teams, while making it easier for worship leaders at local churches to discover and adopt new songs.

Essential Worship is a division of Essential Music Publishing the publishing arm of Provident Music Group (the Christian music division of Sony Music Entertainment). Essential Music Publishing is a full-service music publishing company that provides publishing rights management and administration, licensing, royalty collection and payment on behalf of our award-winning songwriters and catalog administration clients.

Responsibilities
General functions
• Manage EW team in overall Essential Worship (EW) strategy & performance, while providing guidance, training, assigning work, and developing skills to exceed expectations
• Maintain existing or develop new relationships with churches, writers, management for all EW brands
• Direct strategic use of EW budget and monitor spending
• Communicate and troubleshoot as needed with Essential Admin team
• Provide input on song selection for worship projects and A&R initiatives
Marketing
• Develop and lead overall marketing strategy to support Essential Worship (EW) copyrights in conjunction with Brand Manager and Digital Specialist (EW team); analyze plan effectiveness
• Maintain and influence EW partnerships such as CCLI, Praise Charts, Worship Musician
• Seek and develop new strategic partnerships in the church market space
• Monitor and analyze copyright movement on Planning Center and CCLI
• Lead in new sanctioned company EW initiatives
• Support all Essential Worship/Provident label marketing plans in tandem with EW team.
• Develop strategic song campaigns around DSP/streaming opportunities to maximize all potential revenue streams, including exploitation of existing masters, new EW owned/master content and overall awareness of EW brand
• Serve as the main liaison in communicated EW strategy to label group
• Direct and oversee communication with artist and managers regarding content strategy and needs

• Oversee dialogue and implementation in optimizing creative strategies for site growth and relevancy in conjunction with EW team
• Direct and maintain daily function of EW site; phases of site design and new features in collaboration with EW team
• Manage relationship and timelines with web developer
• Oversee and plan all content for site and with EW team (song pages, videos such as Song Sessions, Tutorials, Stories, and Insights)
Events
• Seek new opportunities to expand brand to worship leader conference and events in conjunction with EW team
• Manage dialogue and implementation of event creative marketing tools to gain site traffic and brand awareness with EW team
• Direct advance details for existing partner conferences
• Oversee manager and artist communications for events/conferences
Qualifications
• Experience marketing worship artists and brands
• Ability to lead and execute plans for multiple initiatives within division
• Marketing and branding experience typically gained through 7 or more years of experience in similar role
• Demonstrated creative experience, including campaign oversight and team leadership in a creative arena while driving the business forward
• Solid understanding of DSP/streaming/social media metrics and algorithms required
• Ability to think strategically by pulling together disparate pieces of information into a cohesive, connected whole, develop goals around that information, and propel others toward those goals
• Ability to effectively lead meetings by guiding the dialogue to achieve goals and keeping attendees motivated, focused, and participating
• Proven leadership skills in directing and influencing partners within and outside immediate work group
• Proven organizational skills, including experience working on multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Must be a self-starter and resourceful in finding effective solutions efficiently
• Ability to travel when necessary
• Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree preferred
