Full Time Job
The Film & TV Operations Coordinator will join a team of innovative distributors at The Orchard bringing indie films to digital retailers worldwide. This individual should have a passion for film and an interest in learning digital release strategies. They will become familiar with a large catalog of independent films, ensuring their on-time release on all digital and cable platforms. They will report to the Senior Manger of Film & TV Operations.
The Coordinator will learn rights management and availability reporting inside and out. They’ll master the standard EMA Avail spec in Microsoft Excel and act as the operational liaison between The Orchard and our distribution partners.
This individual will also support Marketing Operations needs for digital artwork and should have some experience in Adobe Photoshop. They will re-format movie posters into multiple versions to meet the requirements of all retailers and promotional opportunities.
Responsibilities
• Build weekly and monthly digital avail documents in the standard EMA Avail spec
• Build monthly cable/satellite avail documents in The Orchard avail spec
• Understand sophisticated digital release strategies and communicate this information directly to our partners
• Work closely with the Operations Department and Client Management Department to ensure the timely submission of avails in step with our operational supply chain
• Liaise with digital retail partners to problem-solve any release-day issues
• Create and deliver additional key art specs, re-formatting movie poster art
Qualifications
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Extreme attention to detail in order to communicate key information surrounding film releases
• Ability to learn new systems and new release strategies in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously in order to work with multiple partners’ schedules
• Experience in Adobe Photoshop
