Full Time Job
As an Associate Director of Marketing at Masterworks, you will play a key role of introducing Film & TV music to the masses, making emotional connections with scores and soundtracks across all demographics. Your multi-tiered, lean-forward approach will tap into fans' consumption of digital and physical audio products, videos and social content.
What you'll do:
• Develop and execute a wide range of traditional, innovative and experiential marketing concepts individually and through collaboration with marketing and other Masterworks colleagues.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with artist management, artists, content licensors and film studios.
• Understand emerging social media trends and advertising, not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, in order to improve campaign performance.
• Oversee creation of innovative and compelling digital content working with external vendors.
• Compose advertising copy, gather creative assets and provide creation direction for asset creation. Initiate advertising across all media platforms working with digital marketing colleagues.
• Interpret and report on analytics for online advertising campaigns, working closely with digital marketing colleagues to optimize each campaign.
• Be well versed in primary streaming music platforms (including Apple, Amazon, Spotify, Deezer & YouTube), track playlisting and audience consumption to recommend optimization and exposure.
Who you are:
• You have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in entertainment marketing, with a preference for music marketing and a bachelor's degree.
• You are creative, detail-obsessed and a collaborative self-starter with the ability to prioritize, multitask, focus and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• You are extremely comfortable working autonomously and with a team, depending on the project's needs.
• You are energetic, curious, adaptable, solution-oriented and accepting of abrupt change and unforeseen challenges.
• You excel at written/in-person/virtual communication as well as possess exceptional time management skills.
• You love film, TV and their respective soundtracks and have an interest in all types of music.
• Be prepared to discuss previous projects and share examples of marketing work.
