Full Time Job
The Associate Director, Account Management, Apple US will report to the VP, Sales, North America and is responsible for leading the Apple account management team in the US.
Responsibilities
• Oversee US Apple account management driving overall strategy for the account with a view of how the US business fits into the larger picture for global priorities. This will involve communication with other territories.
• Responsible for creating and presenting account pitches and presentations.
• Works with the label to create project specific release plans as it pertains to Apple Music and communicate those plans internally and to the account.
• Work directly with the VP of Sales to identify priorities, plan strategy, create/develop campaigns, track success, and create result-driven campaign recaps combining analytics and marketing
• Liaise with the Label Management, Commercial Insights, Interactive Marketing, and Audience Development teams on artist/ label plans and assets ensuring the Apple account management team is fully optimizing sales and marketing opportunities
• Participate in all US sales & marketing team calls to help strategize and execute on release plans
• Create and share insights and analysis with Account Managers and Labels/Label Managers on opportunities to enhance our business/ artist exposure
• Communicate to the team developments and opportunities at the accounts
• Regularly attend shows and develop/ maintain social relationships with the key account personnel and Labels
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Prior experience with digital account management (content, sales, and/ or marketing)
• Prior experience working for a digital service or content provider
• Working knowledge of the music industry, and a passionate commitment to music and artists
• Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills a must.
• Must be respectful, assertive, confident, and self-motivated as boss is based in the field
• Ability to work under pressure and balance priorities while being a team player
• Strong analytic skills
• Proficient in Soundscan, Buzz Angle, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools, such as Looker, Tableau, etc
