Sony Music Entertainment’s (SME) Content Protection department is seeking an Analyst to actively support and assist with the development and execution of SME’s global content protection efforts and to enforce SME's copyrights worldwide. This position will play a vital role in SME’s efforts to combat intellectual property theft and expand SME’s content protection efforts globally.
SME's Content Protection department provides support to SME’s labels and business units including Business & Legal Affairs, Global Industry & Government Relations, Law, and Partner Development. The environment is fast-paced and allows for opportunities to work on diverse subject matters.

Responsibilities
At the direction of the Vice President of Content Protection, the Analyst will be responsible for the daily management and performance of the following tasks:
• Assist in the analysis, design, and development of enterprise solutions for global Content Protection department
• Supervise the administration of third-party and proprietary software applications and content management systems used in connection with SME’s content protection efforts
• Assist development teams in deployment, user acceptance testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting
• Assist with the evaluation and implementation of watermarking services, secure delivery tools, and automated content recognition (ACR) solutions
• Analyze and identify opportunities to employ algorithmic and machine learning techniques to automate workflows
• Conduct security assessments to identify and remediate content security weaknesses and/or gaps across service providers
• Coordinate and communicate with industry trade organizations to develop and execute online anti-piracy programs
• Routinely update appropriate stakeholders on Content Protection matters
Qualifications
• Must possess Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 1-2 years direct or equivalent software development experience
• Knowledge and proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages (Java, C , Python, JavaScript, and Swift)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professionals (CISSP) designation ideal
• Experience with information security internal & external audits, risk management, and third-party risk assessments
• Must display strong analytical, research and writing skills
• Demonstrate ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under minimal supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
