Full Time Job
Reporting to the VP of Global Compensation, the Analyst, Compensation & HR Analytics will be responsible for assisting in the administration of compensation programs, including the annual bonus and merit process, benchmarking and salary recommendations.
In addition, the position will play a critical role in developing a new HR data analytics strategy at Sony Music, providing new insights and analysis for HR and business leaders.
Primary clients will include HR business partners, but the role will liaise with Finance, Legal and HRIS to deliver results.
Responsibilities
• Participate in the design and implementation of a new people analytics strategy to drive insights into the Sony Music workforce.
• Design and maintain a new suite of reports and dashboards to support HR and business leaders with real time analytics.
• Assist in the annual merit and bonus planning process, ensuring data is properly set up and accurately maintained in Curo, our online compensation planning tool.
• Leads annual benchmarking review process, ensuring all positions are accurately benchmarked against relevant market data in PayFactors.
• Complete data submission for 4-5 salary surveys to assist with ongoing competitive analyses and pay program assessment.
• Lead and maintain the annual HR budget/forecasting tracking spreadsheet to Finance.
• Track and report on the progress of deal memos and contracts, ensuring all signatures are obtained and all finalized documents are uploaded to each employee’s UltiPro profile.
• Conduct data audits and support data integrity processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity across HRIS and all compensation systems.
• Work with HR and Legal to provide severance calculations for terminated employees.
• Manage the production and maintenance of all severance related documents.
Qualifications
• 2-3 years compensation and people analytics experience supporting cross functional teams to deliver high quality, compliant people data & insights.
• Experience with designing actionable people metrics and analytics to drive business decisions.
• Intermediate PowerPoint and Keynote skills required.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to influence use of analytics across the organization.
• Extensive experience in benchmarking analysis and market pricing.
• Ability to work with multiple data sources and combining relevant information to generate insights from analyses.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills.
• The highest level of integrity and management of confidential information.
